strength coaching and personal training in downtown toronto
fitness that fits you
Looking for a different kind of personal trainer in Toronto (or online)?
Empathy-driven coaching that meets you where you’re at, because strength looks different for everyone.
Does your fitness journey look like a bad tarot reading?

Hi! I’m Hamza, and I get it.
You can click here to get to know a little bit more about me and why I should be your last personal trainer
(because the whole point of this is to make you independent and feel good in and about your body)
or keep scrolling get straight to business.
How we fix it:

Book a call so we can discuss your goals, challenges, and aspirations. We’ll explore what you want to achieve and how I can help you. Then get a free workout in to see how you move, and you can gauge if the vibes are right for you. There’s no commitment, so even if you decide not to work with me, you’ll still have a gameplan on where to go from here.

We collaborate on a program tailored to your lifestyle, preferences, abilities, and vision. I find those screener assessments gyms do to be scummy (“let’s make up a bunch of things wrong with you to sell you the solution”) so we’ll assess and adjust movement limitations and impingements along the way during our actual training.

This is where the fun starts. I handle the accountability and logistics, you take the reins and let it rip. You start to feel better in and about your body, mundane tasks feel easier, your performance in and out of the gym improves, and we celebrate every milestone along the way.
Personal Training (in Toronto) & Online Strength Coaching
I offer a number of options to make fitness fit you. In-person training primarily takes place at Fortis Fitness in Leslieville. There is also limited availability for training at your home or condo gym if you’re in the downtown core, St. Lawrence, or Distillery.
If you’re looking for something less involved than face-to-face coaching, or find the cost off-putting, online coaching is a great alternative. You’ll receive personalized programs with weekly check-ins via my coaching app. You also gain continuous access to me over Whatsapp for form checks, nutrition or training guidance, and one virtual gym session via video call (or in-person if you’re in Toronto). Basically a personal trainer on speed-dial with more flexibility.

IN-PERSON TRAINING
$99/session + HST

ONLINE COACHING
$50/week + HST
The benefits of this approach to fitness and training:
Celebrate food
Cultivate a relationship with food and movement that feels joyful and energetic, rather than draining. The whole point of this is to live well
Trust your body
Learn to interpret your body’s physical and emotional signals – understanding what that sugar craving really is or why you’re in a slump
Keep stacking wins
Develop the physical ability to do whatever you want with your body, whether that’s crush a local pickleball league, pick up your children, or train for the Olympics
Retain your gains
Learn to balance fitness in a way that enhances your life rather than overwhelming it. Sustainable, long-term progress that lets you commit without the risk of burning out
Why most personal trainers fail
I’m not saying I’m better, but…
-
Will never make you do burpees
Or other pointless crap that gets you tired for the sake of feeling tired. Everything we do will have a reason.
-
No sleazy sales tactics
I won’t lock you into packages or pricing bundles. You don’t even have to pay a gym membership for our sessions.
-
No copy-paste or generic programs
You get a customized program tailored to your specific goals, injuries, and needs, not AI slop.
-
No IG or fitness-tok gimmicks
No edited before-after photos, “4 week shredz”, or crash diets. Real work = sustainable results.
-
I want you to eventually outgrow me
This got me into trouble at my old gyms, but I want you to eventually become independent so you don’t need me.
-
I believe in dessert and seasoning your food
You don’t have to measure every single grain of rice, or eat like a convict. I advocate a healthy relationship with food.
-
The entire process is based on empathy
I understand that shit happens and some days you can only give 20% and I’ll never shame you for it.
-
A collaborative process we’re partners in
I will explain every step of my process to you so we work through things together, rather than “cuz I said so”.
Don’t take my word for it, here’s what getting stronk has meant for others:
Frequently asked
Some of the most common questions I receive as a personal trainer:
Not at all! I’ve worked with professional athletes and people who are brand new to physical culture. My current client roster’s age range is from 13 to 72. Whatever your history, the focus is on building a safe, sustainable foundation.
My focus is primarily on building strength, rehabilitating injuries, improving sport performance, and enhancing your daily quality of life. If your *sole* goal is aesthetic weight loss, we probably won’t be the right fit. I’m still happy to have a conversation and refer you to someone who deals specifically with that.
I am happy to offer guidance on nutrition, but cannot create a meal plan for you as you should talk to a registered dietitian or nutritionist for that.
It is as hands-on or hands-off as you’d like. Some clients just want their programs updated with minimal engagement or interaction with me. Others will be in my DMs every 30 minutes, 6-7 days a week. It’s a collaborative process so I’ll match the energy you need from me.
We’ll have an initial video call from the gym so we can go over form and questions re. the split. Then you log your workouts in the app, I review them weekly with your comments and any videos you’ve uploaded for form checks, and we have a monthly video (or in-person) training session to ensure everything is progressing smoothly.
It can be, especially in Toronto, where coaches charge between $75-180. But if cost is an issue, I’ll work with you to arrange a training solution within your budget. Whether that’s discounted bulk pricing, a hybrid program of online + in-person training, or flexibility in scheduling so you only see me 1-2x a month rather than multiple times a week.
A sneak peak into my philosophy (or if you like memes):
Wanna level up and get STRONK?
No commitment. Just vibes.
